Hey Family,

I've been in the MTC for about 9 hours now. Everyone here is so nice, so that is really encouraging because it keeps my spirit up. I had my last meal with Lindsey and Trent at Ihop because notihng else was opened...but it was still good! We had a short meeting with family and new missionaries that only lasted about 25 minutes! It was so short. Lindsey cried for almost the whole thing, I didn't until she had to leave, Missionaries in the back and family in the front. We then went immediately to our medical checks (which were really fast). We then had about 2 hours till our meeting with the MTC President. We then had dinner. The food is not very good so far and you only get 3 meals...I'm so hungry! Then we had another orientation meeting with our Branch Presidency. My Presidents name is President Curtis, he served a mission in Frankfurt. Then its Brother Lehnardt who was born and grew up in Berlin. Then it's Brother Larkin who was a chaplin in the airforce. Cool story, Brother Larking was a mission president in Taiwan and for some reason got called to serve here. There is a sister in my district who only speaks Chinese and German and Brother Larkin translates for her! How cool! There are 11 people in my district and 6 in my zone. My companion, Elder klein is from Centerville, Utah. He is almost fluent in German so I'm sure I'll learn alot from him. He is a cool guy.

President Curtis said our most important objective at the MTC is to recognize and follow the spirit. The spirit is so strong here! He also said forget how the world views you, and learn what God knows about you and who you are.

I Love all of you! Please pray for me.

Love, Chris
